We are glad you finally found us at Florence For Sale.

This site is designed for people looking to sell their unwanted stuff as well as the deal shoppers out there.

          We started this page after seeing several local Facebook Groups pop with people wanting to buy and sell items.  We loved the group pages and have sold a lot of stuff on them.  The more we used the groups the more it became aware to us that we needed a way to categorize the things we wanted to sell and buy.  If I was looking through the group trying to find a piece of furniture, I would have to scroll through a lot of clothes first; thus the birth of Florence For Sale.  The page allowed us to categorize the items that we and the users of the site wanted to sell, making it easier for people looking to buy items. 

          This site is not intended to persuade people not to use sites such as Facebook and Craigslist to buy and sell items.  This site is intended as a tool that will allow you to get maximum exposure for the items you are trying to sell without having to repost your items on several sites.  We continue to utilize these sites to promote your item(s).  The whole point of this site is for you to post your item one time; we will do the rest of the work for you.  We will repost your item from our site to craigslist and Facebook Groups until your item is sold.

          We still sell on Craigslist and Facebook, even though we have found some disadvantages of them both.  Like I said before, Facebook does not allow groups to accurately manage group categories for selling your items.  Craigslist does a great job of categorizing your items, but since Craiglist’s inception buyer’s have become more prone to getting spam emails from potential buyers.  This was a big NO-NO in our book.

          We are a new site and any feedback or suggestions are greatly appreciated.  This site is designed for the LOCAL deal shoppers.  We hope you find exactly what you are looking for.
